I haven't been able to find anything in the forums about where is best/cheapest to buy high quality (verifiable 800+) down in small quanities (by the ounce)in europe. I have a project to finish here in Norway but haven't been able to find anything affordable across the pond.

The best source I've found thus far is linked below.

    https://www.extremtextil.de/catalog/

They are a german company with good shipping rates but they only sell in 100g (3.5 oz) and 250g lots. I'd love to find a place where I could buy 2 ounces or so with decent shipping to Norway.

Thru-hiker.com has quite high shipping rates to Europe and don't have any experience with the other US suppliers and their international shipping policies.

Where do our European BPL members buy their down?

    Cheers,
    Brendan

extremtextil.de is the only source I know of for down in Europe. I'm not sure if you'll be able to find a smaller amount to buy than 100g. I've ordered regularly from extremtextil.de, and highly recommend them. Shipping is pretty fast, materials are always quality, and you can pay with paypal.
