Dec 31, 2010 at 12:36 pm #1679269One time while skiing, I fell head-down into a tree well. Another skier came along and tried to fish me out, and he fell in also. The third skier came along and managed to assist us all. Now, I stay away from the trees more.

Dec 31, 2010 at 1:11 pm #1679281Cross-country skiing over thin icy crud. Bit of a struggle. My wife got fed up and said she would walk. So she took off here skis – and almost disappeared into a snow-covered gap between two boulders. There was nothing underneath. Took a big struggle to get out and back onto her skis as there was little to lean on.
Yeah, happens.
