Smoky Mountains April 2-9

So I'm looking to figure out a good route for a hike in the smokies during the first week in April. I'm thinking five days of hiking with a day for travel each way (about a 12 hour drive). I've hiked in the smokies a couple of times, but have never had this much time to dedicate to a trip. I'm probably meeting up with a buddy so a loop isn't terribly important, but is always more convenient.

We're going to be shooting for 15 or so miles a day, give or take a few. Anybody ever taken a similar trip that could offer up some suggestions?
