Being a PNW hiker, I have found umbrellas tremendously helpful, and was intrigued by Ryan Jordan’s teaser for the 2006 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/preview_orsm06.html), “ultralight umbrellas from a new-on-the-scene cottage company.” But nothing else was mentioned about them. Can anyone mention more about this new addition to the Go-Lite, Euroschirm (BirdiePal) lineup?
