the thermolite bivy is the "best" one that AMK offers- I've read mixed reviews of the blizzard bag
in the winter for day trips I carry a 2 person heatsheet AND a thermolite bivy- my reasoning is I can use the heat sheet as a partial shelter as part of debris shelter, snow trench or lean-to- while using the bivy to get into
The bivy is a bit small for me I have found. It would be great if they made a blanket out of the same material.
yeah I'm 6' and i can fit into it OK, definitely could be a little longer
