I decided I’d start another thread here as I am most likely not going to the Winds this week due to snow.  The best weather I can find is in Utah, so I want to try doing a trip in a place I’ve never been, Escalante, UT.  We have 5 full hiking days, we enjoy “routes” (on and off trail), and can average probably around 10-15 miles a day. Rain is imminent, so tighter slots might be not so fun (or safe). What should I do??

    FYI –

It was snowing last week at Cedar Breaks, Utah.

Escalante is lower, but ….    just saying.
