2.5L laminates like Membrain are durable enough for most uses. A 3L laminate like Gore-Tex Pro Shell will be more durable. GTX Paclite will be as durable as the Membrain, more or less.

If how long the glove lasts is the most important thing, then Gore-Tex Pro Shell is going to be “better” than the Membrain. Unfortunately, you’ll probably pay a price premium. Personally, the only Pro Shell *gloves* I know of cost $200+…

Speaking from my own experience of durability of gloves and mitts, material and quality of reinforcements is going to affect durability a lot more than what WPB they use. Something with leather where it matters is going to outlast something like the Exum.

It also might be worth looking at the Marmot Precip Shell Glove and wear liners underneath. I imagine they’ll last almost as long as the Exums, but you can buy two pairs instead of one for the same coin.
