Is it possible to send money to an individual through PayPal using my credit card?
Without having to "Add Money" from a checking account and waiting 3-5 days.
Nov 30, 2010 at 5:15 pm #1669503Yes, they charge you a fee however. I believe it is 3%
Nov 30, 2010 at 5:41 pm #1669512Maybe it's obvious – but how do you do it?
Nov 30, 2010 at 5:49 pm #1669517I think you have to add the credit card to your account first if you haven't done so. If I remember, once logged into your account go to profile and add credit card. Then, when sending money, you use that as your payment option.
Nov 30, 2010 at 5:50 pm #1669518Log in to your account, go to:
Profile -> Add or edit Credit cardGoogle works great for stuff like this too.
Nov 30, 2010 at 6:04 pm #1669521Got it……..thanks…….
Nov 30, 2010 at 6:21 pm #1669524Not everyone though is set up to take cards though through Paypal, so do ask. If one has a personal account not a business account they can decline to accept cards (since there is the fee for the receiver of the money)
Nov 30, 2010 at 6:56 pm #1669539If you didn't know, you can also 'tie' a checking account/debit card to your paypal account so you can pay immediately without having to use a credit card and incurring that fee. FWIW.
Dec 2, 2010 at 9:11 pm #1670347Another way to do it is with MoneyPak. They have them at a bunch of different stores now. Buy the MoneyPak card and put whatever amount you want on it. Then enter the card I.D. number in on your paypal account and the funds are added. Did this for the first time the other day. Another way to avoid the wait with the checking account and the fees.
Dec 2, 2010 at 9:22 pm #1670350Thanks everyone……
