In the interesting article on this site about making trekking poles the author discusses using aluminum poles and ferrules to create a multi section pole. Anyone know where to get the ferrules and what diameter aluminum sections one would use? Thanks.
Clarification: I'm talking about adjustable ferrules that let one tube slip inside the next.Nov 25, 2010 at 6:42 am #1667862Try googling and researching "how to make your own fly rod". I have seen ferrules mentioned.
