This summer I recieved a Camelbak Fourteener as a gift. Initialy I had mixed feelings about this pack because of it's size vs it's weight. It's just an oversized hydration pack at 2.53 lbs. Just 5 grams more than my mountinsmith ghost. Then I used it. Wonderful. This is the best carrying pack I have ever had. It can carry a 100 oz. bladder and 2 32 oz. bottles(bags), little over 10 lbs comfortably. I have had up to twenty lbs in it and it still carries well. Has foam blocks on the back for ventilation and padding. Keeps the back cool, only sweat I found was where the blocks touch. I was surprized how much it can hold. Does have compression straps. If I could put my sleeping bag in it I would need no other pack. If your looking for a throw in the trunk or behind the seat ready pack this might work for you.
