I’ve been using one since the spring and like it.

Pros: Primaloft Sport insulation gives it a soft feel and nice drape. Easily compressible for a synthetic bag. Jacket-style hood works well. Efficient 60″ cut in the torso; a little extra room in the foot. Non-snagging 2/3 zip.

Cons: The 60″ cut may not be wide enough for big guys. Like most synthetic bags, the Orion has an overly optimistic rating. Independent tests conducted on copper manikins give the Orion a 30F rating for “the standard man”. I would agree. When the temps drop below thirty, I know I’ll have to wear a puffy jacket with it to stay warm.

Actual weight: 2 lb.,5.1 oz. on my scale. The included silnylon stuff sack weighs 1.2 oz.
