replacing sleeping pad

I use a hammock, but sometimes (usually on paddling trips, with sand/ gravel bars; no trees) I need a tent, so I need a sleeping pad. While I can go heavier when canoe camping, I'd rather not. I have a heavy/bulky, but comfortable Thermarest, and would like to replace it with something lighter, but comfortable. I've read some older posts, but nothing current. What are some options.
Thanks,
Leigh

Judging by your location, and the fact that it probably won't b too cold on a canoe trip, you might want to consider getting a NeoAir, also from Thermarest. It should be much lighter, more compact, and comfortable.

Edit: nevermind, Kramer beat me to it…
