Olympus unleashed a sack of new cameras for the biennial Photokina, including *four* new Stylus/Mju waterproof models. The Stylus 1000 will have 10-meg resolution, in case you’re not filling up those storage cards fast enough. No sign of a viewfinder anywhere.
The best thing about a viewfinder is it means you hold the camera against your head and keep it steady !
My sister who is very inexperienced with cameras bought a viewfinderless digital on her first trip overseas and came back with a lot of blurry photos because of it.
