Mountaingear.com has the Corsa for $78, and the email I got stated free shipping on all orders over $49.

http://www.mountaingear.com/pages/product/product.asp/imanf/CAMP/idesc/Corsa+Ice+Axe/Store/MG/item/113420/N/1034

The listed weight is 7.23 oz but without a size reference. Right now they have 50, 60, and 70 cm available.

CAMP still has super cheap leashes in their outlet area for these axes as well (or MYOG is easy): http://www.camp-usa.com/products/categories/CLOSEOUTS.asp

My old "Swallows Nest" ice ax weighs 27 oz. I think I was due for a new one.

They also have the Corsa Nanotech, for only 1.5oz more you get a steel pick and spike. Its on sale for $99, regular $140

Bill, thanks…the Nanotech looks great. Seeing these axes on sale gets me excited for the upcoming season :)

i saw the nanotech and i had moosejaw price match it. $100 from moosejaw plus points is a better deal than just $100.

im excited for some winter expeditions.

I thought the moosejaw 1000 point bonus only kicked in when the item is over $100. The actual price is $99.98 on mountaingear. Let me know if moosejaw lets you slide on the 2 cents.

i just checked my account and it looks like they just matched down to $100 even.

i would have rather them charge me the extra .02 to get the extra 1000 points, and it looks like they did it automatically.

nanotech is a better buy for most usage … bit more durable with steel spike and tip … for 50g more

mine came in yesterday. i ordered it from moosejaw, they price matched plus gave me an extra 1000 points.

Im really liking the nanotech. it has some grip tape at the bottom of the shaft which really gives a great grip on it. its so much lighter than my REI yeti axe and i don't think i'll have the rusting issue i've been having with the yeti.

Montaingear just called and told me they don't have my ice ax that I ordered 11/5/10. That took them a while…..
