Has anyone ever seam sealed a backpack? With all of these ultra light packs being made out of waterproof materials, I figure I could save the weight of a pack cover if I just seam seal my pack? Has anyone tried this?

By all means… seam seal the pack… but I wouldn’t count on that alone. I always use a pack liner for my shelter, bag and clothes.
