If you haven't tried it, finely crushed or powdered freeze dried fruit is a really good addition to couscous.

I do something similar Ben but I use a little Earl Grey tea with the liquid for the couscous. The bergamot in the Earl Grey goes nicely with the citrus flour. Sometimes I candy ginger with the peels too.

I followed Ben's orange couscous creation, very tasty

for the round I sprinkled dried cranberries and chopped almonds in with the orange…yumm…great flavors and added texture

breakfast is the only meal where I like something sweet, I know what I'll be eating this weekend…thanks Ben

Ben…. some other uses for this powder at home or if one bakes on the trail…

Sprinkled on pancakes or mixed into the batter. Sprinkled on cookies, muffins or cakes.

Instead of drying and grinding it can be finely chopped and mixed in with date bars (I posted a basic recipe for bars awhile back). Candied, without being dehydrated, it will keep for a month or more without issue.

I like craisins and pistachios in mine!
