I just put up a quick blog post on my custom HMG Echo II in leaf green for anyone interested.

Nice.
Looks quite similar in dimensions to my hut1 setup, which comes in at around the same weight with my bugnet and floor mods.

Yeah, it does. Just modular and double-wall.

I got another hut1 for spare change.

Wish I had enough spare change for your setup though. ;-)

Wow it looks great in leaf green. Anyone wanna buy a white Echo I so I can get a green one :)

FWIW, 3/32" shockcord (instead of 1/8") will work great with the existing LineLoc3's on the inner and it'll save you 0.5-1oz. I'm also using 1.4mm guyline from HMG with MicroLineLoc's on the tarp and beak, except for the side guy outs on the beak where I'm using a fixed length of 1/16" shockcord. All told I've saved 3-4oz.

Yeah, I knew I could save some weight but at < 2 lbs for 2 people I'm in no hurry to modify it. At the weights we currently carry year round it would take a loss of several pounds for us to notice any difference.
