Snow around Rae Lakes?

I was wondering if anyone knows if it has snowed in the Rae Lakes region? I was thinking of heading up there this weekend and just wondering if anyone has any recent first-hand experience. And yes I am calling the ranger station tomorrow, just thought Id ask here as well.
Oct 20, 2010 at 9:14 pm #1656509I don't know anything specifically about that part of Kings Canyon. However, the event that I planned on doing closer to Mammoth Lakes seems to be cancelled due to snow down to 8500 feet elevation. I'm not sure that Rae Lakes would be an ideal trip to do right now.
