ITW has come out with the Apex SR 25 waveloc buckle for 1" thin webbing for example 1' cross grain ribbon. I ordered some samples it works great and holds tight and the buckle is thin and light but sturdy. Could be use for internal compression straps or straight jacket pack compression. Or for the real gram counters hip belt buckle.

I did find a buckle however that worked fine.
Sea-to-summit compression sack I have uses thin webbing also, and appears to use the Mako ladder lock by the same company, and has huge hold.
Now if I can just find some of these without having to order them wholesale.
