Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share the drybag's I built a while back for my ULA Epic pack. One is a 50Liter cuben fiber full bottom drybag that weighs around 2.35oz and the other is a 60Liter 70d heat welded drybag that weighs around 6.25oz.

very nice, Chris at ULA says they are working on some lighter drybag options for this pack. Maybe they will turn out somthing similar.

I am making my own dry bags right now. Do you have any tips?

Personally I prefer the 70d drybag over the cuben one since its much more durable.

I was thinking of adding Daisy Chains down the sides. What do you think?

I like daisy chains just for the convenience they will bring. Just imagine having to open the roll top for every little thing. But I am sure some will scoff at the extra weight.

Nice! Making one for my Arctic Drypack is still on my to-do list. Your cuben one at 2.35 oz is substantially lighter than my 50L bag at 10.1 oz that came with the pack.

I'm not a fan of daisy chains, others probably are though, but if you put some side pockets on it(no idea if that is possible), sort of like a z-packs blast, you would have a winner in my opinion. Just make sure you put some drain holes at the bottom of the pockets.

Side pockets would be easier with the cuben since I can bond the material but I am not sure they would be tough enough.
