I have one (Tatonka food container) that I'm not completely happy with.
There are many pros. This spring it had many uses on a packraft trip:
kettle/plate
water container during walks
super reliable dry case during rafting
toilet paper (washing my butt)
mirror (smooth stainless steel)Cons:
It seals with 3 clamps that cause trouble when packing and cleaning after open fire cooking. I want a lid with threads. Any ideas where to get a metal pot with:1) watertight metal lid with threads
2) about 1 liter capacity
3) opening big enough for inserting your hand (for cleaning)
4) no bottom seams etc difficult to clean spotsDec 8, 2010 at 2:11 pm #1672311Clearly not a practical solution unless you have your own factory: Make this same product, only place the spring on the lid, rather than the bowl. This would keep everything cleaner.
