    Here is a famous one.

    Bottom line:

    Four F105 Thuds (Republic Thunderchief) do a fly-by to dedicate This static display F105.

    Notice the glass windows in the dorm behind it. Here is what the dorms look like up close:

    These were low level fighter bombers used in Viet Nam. During "June Week" 1968 one turned on the afterburners too low and close to the dorms. It was traveling on the deck faster than Mach 1.

    Results: 300+ broken windows. Cost to repair: Over $250,000.
