Where's the best place to find a good quality cheap fleece jacket? I've used an REI muir woods fleece jacket for a while but it no longer fits (it was a gift a while ago). I want to find something similar but don't feel I need to spend a ton of money for a fleece jacket. I was thinking target or walmart or even a thrift store?

Target/Walmart and even thrift store fleece is fine, just get one with thick loft, not smooshed/worn out/balled up. Fleece is an awesome material and should last quite some time on many camping adventures. Just don't expect it to weigh as little or compress as well as a MB Ex Light vest!
Find the seasonal closeout rack at the big box stores if you want brand new. I shop for fleece at thrift stores. There you may need to also look in the women's jackets so I go with DW. Warm jackets are extra cheap in Phoenix thrift stores when it is 100+ degrees outside.
