There is someone clearing out a ton of Patagonia R1 Pants (the special edition army ones) on various auctions on ebay. The ending prices have varied but I got a pair for $11 delivered to my house (NWOT). I am normally a L in Patagonia long underwear bottoms and would say that the XL's I bought fit between a L and an XL. The color isn't nearly as bad as it looks on the screen either.

I was just looking on the Patagonia site yesterday for a pair of R1 pants. Although I think I'm close to a small or medium. Thanks for the heads up.
I found a what looked like an R1 top in the brown military color in a thrift store the other day that had no labeling, but had "Patagonia" written all over it. I wondered if they were making military stuff. Sounds like a good thing to look for.
botach and diamondback tactictal both sell the green patagonia stuff that was made for the military. you can tell it was military by the color RG (ranger green) as patagonia did not make items in that color for general public
