Hey Bay Area Friends, The backpacking season is slowly winding down and Cameron Kennedy and myself are heading out to Emigrant Lake–Starting at Kennedy Meadows off HWY 108 on October 9TH. We are more then likely driving up on Friday night and getting a early start Saturday morning. It is about a 12 mile hike to Emigrant Lake. No bear canister required and you can get a permit at the Summit Ranger station at Pinecrest. All wellcome! Get a hike in before Winter sets in….
Emigrant lake is wonderful place, and would join – if I was not already up in Snow Mountain.
