For those who have ordered from the Clymb recently, especially during the recent GoLite sale- how long did it take for them to ship?

Ordered a GoLite UltraLight 3-Season Quilt (Long) from the Clymb. My order is still in the processing phase, not received any notification of shipment.

Sent them an email Friday morning, haven't received a reply yet. It's been a little less than a full business day since I sent it, so I'm not terribly worried… Just trying to get some idea for when it'll ship. Thanks all!

My golite order from them shipped this past friday.

Good to know. I ordered late in the sale, so I'll give it a little more time before I pester them any more. Thanks Konrad!

I received my VO24 daypack on Friday. I ordered toward the end of the sale.

I got my quilt on Friday. They're shipping from OR so maybe that's why it's taking a bit longer.

@Danny- my order hasn't even shipped yet- my order status is "Order Confirmed," still in the processing phase in the graphic at the top of the order info page. Hasn't changed since the order was placed.

This is my first order from the Clymb, so I don't have an idea how an order usually goes- do they usually send a shipment notification and tracking number when the item ships? Some shops I've purchased from in the past send you a shipment notification days after the item was actually shipped.

I recall when I received the order confirmation that the item wouldn't ship until Sept. 28ish at the lastest. I can't remember for sure as I ordered off my wife's account and would have to look at her email.
So, if it hasn't shipped yet it will hopefully be shipping soon for those who are waiting.
On a side note, I had a Steep and Cheap order arrive 2 days after ordering which i thought was impressive.

@Chris: I remember seeing anything like that- must have been on the order confirmation screen rather than an email, though. I'm not 100% on this, but I think it was September 24th. Email confirmation said I should receive it on or before October 1st, this Friday.

my Go-Lite quilt shipped last week and will apparently be delivered tomorrow, the 28th.

they do what basically amounts to direct from the factory shipments, which is probably why it takes so long, but is also how they are able to sell at the prices they do.

I did see that the goods are shipped from the maker's warehouse directly, or sent to the Clymb from the maker and shipped in bulk, avoiding inventory. Makes sense to me.

Are their shipment notifications reliable? That is, if I haven't received a notification is it safe to assume that it truly hasn't shipped? May seem like a silly question, but I've shopped at places who do have flaky ship-notification setups.

I'll try giving them a call tomorrow.

@Aaron: That sounds right with the on-screen notification. The date that was given is fuzzy, though.
I did receive a notification when item shipped.

Maybe the hold up is that they have to remove some more carbon from the atmosphere before they can ship another package. =)

Hey Aaron- There is a small backlog in the warehouse because of the popularity of the sale. If you don't get an update by tomorrow morning please feel free to e-mail directly kevin@theclymb.com and I will get it sorted for you. I will make sure it gets taken care of for you.

A few hours after Kevin's post, I got an email from someone at the Member Support Team at The Clymb with an apology, the assurance that I'd be taken care of, as well as a $20 credit for my next purchase.

I replied to say that I'd been hoping to have it for a trip this weekend and asked if I could instead get an upgrade in shipping so that I could get my order by Thursday. I got a reply today which said that my order had been located in the warehouse and would be overnighted to me today, at their expense.

Needless to say, I'm impressed. They'd have to hand-deliver my order plus an extra quilt for me to be any more pleased.

I'll post an update later to let you all know how it ends. Thanks again all!

Sounds like The Clymb has it down with customer support. I predict great success for those folks!

The Clymb was true to its word and went above and beyond- I received my order this morning. I can't help but agree with Chris- I predict good things for the Clymb. I haven't had the time yet, but I will be sending a thank you note to Kevin and membersupport@theclymb.com later today… and probably spamming my friends with the story and my invite URL. :)

Thanks to everyone at The Clymb and everyone who helped out in this thread!
