I have 4 gortex jackets and of course need one more (!) as I don’t have a light one yet.
Most of the quality brands sell for around $200+ and I’m sure they are worth it.
But Cabelas ‘Rainy River Parka’ made of Gore-Tex PacLite can be had for $85.
Has anyone owned or seen them ?

Felt it, but not used it in the rain. Seems relatively comforable and durable…
And they are on sale now for $60. Cabela’s is usually good stuff– overbuilt for hunters and such, but well made and good customer service. Pants are on sale for the same. They are out of tall sizes.
