Has anybody put the Montane Superfly Rain Jacket through it’s paces? I have had a Marmot Precip jacket and pants for a couple of years and they have served me well (all though I hardly ever wear the bottoms). I see the Montane is getting a lot of raves – I think it’s British – hell those guys know wet weather just like us in NZ. Anybody care to compare precip to the Montane?
Aug 6, 2006 at 3:59 am #1360575I haven’t used the Marmot or the Superfly but have used a lot of the other Montane Gear. I’m currently using the Montane 200 jacket, Air Pants, Featherlite Smock and Terra Pants. I have to say that I have been thrilled with their performace, comfort, fit etc etc. So, based on my experience of the other Montane products I have used, I would imagine that the Superfly does everything they claim it does.
I will certainly be buying more Montane products in the future.
