I'd like to take an Osprey EXOS pack and remove the bag from the frame, keeping the belt and shoulder straps connected to the frame. Then I'd like a cuben fiber bag built onto the frame. Something similar to John Roan's CF pack he recently made, but around 3,800 ci.
Who does this work?
This type of pack interests me too. The ULA Epic and Tigoat packs look like a nice start for packs of this type.
I cannot efficiently do it, but I would be interested in that as well and have conceived something similar. Perhaps Rainy Pass (link) in Seattle.
Someone with more cuben experience than myself here should be able to tackle this project.
Otherwise, if you can't find anybody else, I'm willing to take a shot later on as my schedule clears up some.
I was looking at my Osprey EXOS pack and I think it can only be done by cutting away the existing pack material 1-inch from the frame. The cubin pack would need to be attached to this 1-inch lip of material.
