Although it is not the lightest thing in the world at around 7oz, I have found my Panasonic Lumix ZS7 to be a great camera. The 25mm wide angle lens with 12x zoom, HD video, full manual modes, and a GPS for geo-tagging are very cool. The GPS and big display can drain the battery quick though.
Photo quality is excellent but it does suffer some in low light.
Although it is not designed to be hard core like the TS2 or W90, it is somewhat rugged and survived a 2 foot drop to concrete. The metal case took some dents but did protect it! Get a lightweight case and a freezer bag to keep it dry.
