My friend had ankle surgery and is just getting into hiking strength again so we did a short hike Sunday up Osceola, coincidentally his first 4000′ as well.

Great picture Steven. I love the view from up there. Did you go up from the Kanc at Greeley Ponds trailhead or from Tripoli Road?
Absolutely gorgeous picture. Panoramic shots always get me. And the best news, he's back hiking. Best wishes to him on a smooth rest of his recovery.
