My wife & I are planning a trip to Supai AZ in April & want to take a few "shake down" treks in our area to get the feel for our new equipment. Any suggestions for some 3-4 day loops (moderate hiking, 20+ miles, all but extreme terrain) in the central PA area? Thanks, Bob

Hey – there are a number…

– Allegheny Front Trail – 27 mile loop near State College
– Old Logger's Path – 27 mile loop 30 minutes north of Williamsport
– West Rim Trail – 30 mile point-to-point outside Wellsboro (there's a shuttle service to move your car so it can seem like a loop)
– Black Forest Trail – 42 mile loop south of Wellsboro

There are a number of others that would require a car shuttle.

Please feel free to PM me if you have questions about the trails or would like to see photos.
