Are there any options out there for a *breathable* aluminized fabric?
I have several ideas I would like to test adding an IR-reflective layer to, in order to possibly boost warmth. It either needs to be super duper lightweight & not durable (a protected, inner layer) or more durable and comparable in weight to regular UL nylons (15d – 30d).

What exactly is something like the Fugu jacket using?

Note: I'm *NOT* looking for a waterproof or WPB fabric. Just breathable like regular nylon.

Don't remember who had it, but used to see an aluminized Tyvek for sale by the yard on one of the cottage UL vendor sites … 1.7 oz/sqyd IIRC. You might be able to find some with a Google search.

would thermawrap shield light, allowing shade and sleeping in, in the hot summer?
