Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with an issue with my BPL Stix tips. As you can see in the picture, the tip is coming out part of the way. It easily slides back into place when I push it, but if I tip the pole right side up, it falls out to the half-way point shown.

I am leaving on an overnighter this afternoon, and I am wondering what my options are. Can I buy replacement tips for these, and if so, how do the tips normally come off? Do you pull them, twist them, ??? If I know I have no option of replacing the tip, I will probably superglue the tip in today, but I don't want to do that if I have a chance at replacing it.

Any help would be appreciated –

Ryan,

Go to your local hardware store and purchase some JB Weld. Mix up the two-part solution, apply to the tips and you'll have a set of pole-tips far stronger than the original manufacturing epoxy. This solution has worked for me perfectly for hundreds of miles.
