Even Pertex shells adds a significant weight overhead to synthetic wadding blankets / Quilts:
Why not just reinforce the wadding with “rip stop” grid and use inside a vapour bivi , perhaps with the innermost layer attached to removable(for washing) Pertex sheet?
Would also be more breathable and allow .adjustable numbers of layers
