has anyone here ever tried spraying tyvek with camp dry or something similar?
i ask because the threads herein seem pretty conflicted about whether it's sufficiently water resistant.

There are about 16 different types of Tyvek products. Divided in Hard and Soft type. The hard are more waterproof and less breathable (Homewrap for example) the soft are less waterproof and more breathable (apparel/cloth Tyvek)
So you need to know the specific type discussed first.

There is a chart there with all of the types and characteristics, but I cannot find it now
