Our crew is catching the bus to the airport in an hour. The boys are really psyched for the trip.
Thanks for all the feedback and help on BPL. All the boys got the message about going lightweight. My son even cut the handle off his toothbrush without me even suggesting it!
The boys saved a boatload of $$ by getting some used gear on BPL. Some of the that gear should be showing back up in Gear Swap in a month or so.
Have fun, and remember, the scouts run the trip. Your just along for the ride.
Yes, my vacation was great. I just couldn't convince the Scouts that they should be carrying my gear!
