Available from justdrink.net looks pretty interesting. Claims 7 Log (99.99999%) removal of Bacteria, 6 Log (99.9999%) removal of Protozoa & Cysts. I called the manufacturer, and was told it weighs 2 oz dry, is hollow fiber membrane construction, with approximately .1 micron size. The tech was hesitant to nail that down further, he said they prefer to advertise it on the above claimed filtration results. There are letters from a lab posted on their website, stating the results of filtration tests. He mentioned with proper care, backflushing after use, cleaned with chlorine solution, the filter could last beyond the rated 500 gallons.
Given that the Seychelle inline filter is 3.6 oz and gets some bad reviews, and the Camelback inline filter is 4+ oz (I think), the SP120 sounds pretty interesting. The cost is $41.89, and I believe, free shipping (quoted me at $0.00 when I checked out).
