Hey guys. I have a WM 30 bag now. It's the purple one and it's cut wider. I have been getting cold though from draft pockets.
I am 6 feet and 170 pounds. I think I need something a little slimmer cut.
I'm interested in the red summerlight from WM but also in the montbell bags. I feel like the montbell bags might pull in and remove those draft pockets but also feel roomy from the stretch.
If I go for a montbell bag too should I get the 6'4" length so I can get into it a little deeper?
I might be wrong, but have heard that a Montbell regular is only good for 5'11" or less. So yes you probably want the large.
The max for WM bags is 6' 0" for the regular. I wouldn't get a bag too large for the reason you state.
What you wear under your WM bag can make a big difference as well.
Montbell recently changed the length of their new production bags. They are now sized to 6' & 6'6"
