Vitamins/IbuprofenJun 16, 2010 at 7:18 pm #1620731Dave, I would go with Jay's set up of long johns and long pants instead of Down pants. Gives you more options for layering.
Jay, try going for 3 days without your iPod and headset. Is the bee's wax footwear water-proofing? (google the history of Burt's bees…great story!)Aren't Nike Tights and long johns the same? Why both?
I do not use a stuff sack for my sleeping pad.
I really like the Merino hoody. The hood actually stays on my head while sleeping.
BTW What is your intended route. I am planning a loop hike out of Tuolumne, PCT, Rogers Canyon, Grand Canyon….Should I hike the loop clockwise or counter clockwise?
