I've checked out a few meetup.com groups but they don't log many miles/day. I actually saw a JMT trip planned with a pace of 7 miles/day.
I'm looking to do 15-25 (to start) miles per day in SoCal hiking PCT sections and other 2-3 day hikes. Also interested in a Grand Canyon rim-to-rim after summer. I'm just getting all my gear rounded out and need some experience in the area.
