I'm interested in experimenting with an ultralight sleep system, now that I've read a few of Will Rietveld's articles. I'd prefer to keep using my WM Caribou, rather than to buy a new bag. I'm wondering, though if the sewn through construction and lack of an insulated draft tube would make that difficult. Anyone here on BPL use a Caribou as a part of their ultralight sleep system? Anyone know if I'd need baffles and a draft tube?

thanks

I guess it would depend on the temperature you plan to push it to. Any idea of the lowest temps you'll be dealing with?

10 degrees at the most, with a WM flash jacket and MB down pants… but I would take it down to 20 to 25 regularly

I found the answer I was looking for in a previous post. It sound like it'll work fine, as long as I'm in an enclosed shelter.
