I posted this on the other forum, but got no real hits.
Does anybody have any ideas on a hiking pole/umbrella combo? Komperdell was mentioned as making one of these, but it weighed in at 15.6 oz. I think I could get two hiking poles and a umbrella for that weight.
Any ideas? How about from the MYOG crowd?
I remember seeing a MYOG project that teamed an older model of the golite dome with a hiking pole. But I seem to recall that the newer model of the dome no longer works with that hiking pole…. Sorry, but other than the Komperdell option, I dont know of any others….
