I made my own gravity water filter system, like some have posted here on BPL. I used the Hiker Pro filter and a dry sack. My question is what is the best way to store the Hiker Pro filter after each trip so it does'nt get moldy. Any feed back would be great. Thanks Jack

Then, store out on a counter or table for a few days where it can thoroughly dry. When you're ready to use it again, flush the filter with a liter or two of clean water. That's what I do, and I haven't had any problems with my cartridge that has around 100 L of water through it.
