I have a bottom opening Hennessy hammock, and I was thinking about trying to make a bivy bag that would go over it, with a zip in the bottom.
My new plan is to make a bivy-like bottom half, to protect my legs, and then have it open up into a tarp over the head/torso.
The hammock rope would have to go through the foot end of the bivy, and It would need to be water-tight, does anyone have an idea on how to do this?
