Mr. Andersen,
The Lightwave packs have caught my eye. How robust is the fabric in your opinion. On my trips into the wild tend to be in Colorado with a small base camp set up and then up the Fourteeners. Can the 54’s volume be reduced to act as a daypack without being loose or floppy. I would not use the pack as a haul sack but it would be scraped here and there. I have looked at the Granite Gear packs but worry about the vulnerability. I am also looking at the OMM 45 + 10 Villain. I can buy the packs online thru retailers in England at a good price. I pay no VAT and shipping is usually around GBP 10.00.
Anyone else try the Lightwave packs or the Dyneema OMM packs?
