New Balance Minimus

Thanks Craig, I'll definitely be keeping my ears and eyes tuned in for this release. By the way, I love Anton's comments regarding The Dean Machine's "Ultramarathon Man" Wikipedia status…great stuff. Anton destroys Dean on the trail, hands down.

I work at a running store in Atlanta, GA and New Balance gave us a presentation on all of their 2011 products, including the Minimus, last night. The release date for the line is March 1, 2011 as of now.

Yup I also heard how NB Minimus is being launched March 2011. If you are looking for details and pictures this post is pretty useful. Take a close look at some of those pictures…you'll see one of them says "Vibram" (as in the same company that makes FiveFingers!…I wonder what that means?

It means Vibram is diversifying and cashing in on additional business opportunities, they'll be the definitive source of rubber compound for outsole usage in the minimalist footwear trend. Vibram is also teaming up with mega-shoe company Merrell in their upcoming line of VFF "like" footwear.
