Just figured since I've never posted my quilt handi-work here, I'd post some pics. So that you guys don't think I only do coffee gear. ;)
I've made a number of quilts for myself and been doing some custom work for people.
Here's the last two, both in 1.1oz ripstop with 800fp down. Omni-tape and draw string footboxes.
The first one is a regular size, half taper, (72x50x34) 30deg, 1.25" baffles with 2" minimum loft, 2.5-3" in the footbox, total wt 15.8 oz:

The second one was for a BPL member, larger sized.. (76x56x38) straight taper, 1.5" baffles with 2" minimum loft, also overstuffed (~3") footbox and collar. All olive fabric, and I added a snap above the omni-tape to reinforce it:

Final wt on this one was ~17.5oz
I'm working on one right now for a giant sized south bound thru-hiker (starting late june), that'll be 35deg sew-thru a-la WM highlite (which I used for a couple years), that I'll be putting a baffled footbox in. Cold feet was the only issue I had with the highlite down around 35deg.
I'll post pics of it when I'm done.
Have some 900fp down coming, hope to make super light summer quilts with that and 0.9oz ripstop. Any input on what would be ideal for these?
;)
