I know I have read about washing Tyvek on the forum before but cannot find it. I am going to use a sheet of it for a ground cloth and think I remember hearing if you wash it, it will soften it up and make it a little less "loud".
Is this true?
If so, can anyone give me washing instructions? Cold water? With soap? Tumble dry?
I feel like these are dumb questions…but oh well!
Thanks
May 22, 2010 at 2:27 pm #1612562when I've washed Tyvek I just put it in the machine and wash normal cycle, no detergent, hang to air dry. Sometimes it takes a couple of cycles and this is one time when top loading machines works better than front loaders.
