How’s the hood size on this jacket? Big enough to comfortably accommodate a thick fleece hat? How about a helmet?

The fit more or less contours precisely around your head. It’s not oversized at all. A thick fleece hat will fit. Over a helmet is out of the question though.

Thanks Roy. That was exactly the info I was looking for. One of the reasons I asked is that the hood in the picture on ID’s web page appears to be too small for a helmet. But the short hem on this jacket seems geared very much towards technical climbers, many of whom would be wearing a helmet.
